These are pictures from Maggie and Charley's music recital at school. However you will only see Maggie on stage. Charley has been going through a bit of "stage freight" phase. She does not like to be in situations where all eyes are on her. Maggie is on the top row in the center.

Sarah and I hosted our 4th annual kids Christmas party. We had a great group of kids come over to play, eat lunch, decorate cookies and bounce. What a great day!

Atlanta Country Club Christmas Party

The Atlanta Country Club kids Christmas party is such a great time. It starts with a buffet of the kids favorite foods (cheese burgers, french fries, lasagna, fruit...cupcakes) and is followed by the cutest puppet show. The puppet she is pretty entertaining for the adults too and I was amazed at how long Charley sat and watched.

The big event is Santa arriving via helicopter! Everyone goes outside to watch him land on the fairway. It is very cool. Santa is then escorted with all of the kids following. As expected Maggie did great and loved Santa and Charley not so much.

Phipps Santa 2011

Once again we made an appointment to visit our favorite Santa at Phipps Plaza. This year our friends the Benich's and Starr's went at the same time as we did. It was much more fun having friends there! The plan was for Maggie, Charley, Avery and Hunter to talk to Santa together but it didn't really go as planned. Charley wanted nothing to do with him but was fine with holding Maggie's hand while she talked to him. We didn't get any pictures but Charley did talk to Santa a little but only while I was holding her. Maybe next year!

After our Santa visit we went out for lunch. The food court was getting renovated so we went to a "fancy" restaurant. Luckily for the business crowd that was there for lunch it warm enough to sit outside.
